I've recently been converted to a crazy dog lady lol

I have 2 dogs. Lucky (6), a sharpai -husky-rott-pitt mix, and Boots (3 months), a boston terrier-boxer mix.

I will have to get pics of them up because they're so cute

LOL I love dogs!! I am a BIG dog lover but can't have any due to living in a small condo. But as soon as I am out of here I will probably get a boxer!

I just found this board too! LOL
I have had my furbaby since college and we are still renters so dog friendly has been a requirement of any apartment/house we have lived in.
Because she is such a large breed dog (165lbs) and a mastiff/st. Bernard mix I actually called every single apartment complex I looked at before moving to this town and asked for their pet policy IN WRITING and saved everything in an excel spreadsheet lol.
Some places would say no weight limit, but then would list all giant breeds as banned. Some considered Bull anything to be aggressive and would confuse English mastiff with bullmastiff etc etc... So I would get their policy THEN decide my answer to the "what kind of dog do you have?" lol
Mastiffs are low energy dogs and generally quiet so she has actually made a better apartment dog than most small or medium breeds.
We live in a duplex now, but she doesn't even use the backyard - she prefers to sit on the front sidewalk for hours on end watching the world go by - never once leaving the yard or approaching the neighbors when their own front door is only 10ft away lol

Ya we asked every apartment complex as well, alot of places ban rotts and pitts which sucks because lucky has bit of both in her but she is the most chill dog you will ever meet. She may lick you to death but thats about it lol So we just told them she was sharpei and husky mix..which she totally is! but we left out the rott and pit part lol
