Lately, I have been seeing more and more of these on tv... Strollers that small dogs fit into.

Personally, I think the entire idea is RIDICULOUS! WTH?! Dogs have feet, they can walk! Why push them in a stroller?
It just seems like a huge waste of money, in my opinion... What are your thoughts?

Okay seriously unless doggie has a physical problem where it cannot walk that's stupid! Everyone and everything in this country needs more exercise if they are phsyically able, no reason for it.

haha... we have one. our dog is five pounds... and we always always always let him walk, b/c you're right, he has legs and is capable and can use the exercise. HOWEVER, i need exercise, and i can walk/jog much further and longer than my 5 pound dog can. at some point, he gets tired and i wind up carrying him -- it eventually became easier to just buy the stroller...he walks until he is ready to lay down, and then he rides while I jog. In the summertime especially b/c it is so hot he gets tired much faster and it's nice to have the stroller for him to relax in but I don't feel bad for leaving him cooped up in the house... I can carry a tupperware dish with water in it for him in the basket part. and when im ready to jog I don't have to stop every 5 seconds for him to sniff something or pee or whatever. it works for us.
