Have you ever dealt with skin conditions - such as dermatitis or a staph infection - in your dogs?
What course of treatment did you/your vet take? Have you ever tried a holistic approach to cure it?

Staph infection I believe requires antibiotics.

Dermatitis, Demodex mange, etc the rescue I work with uses apple cidar vinegar as well as prescribed meds from the vet, so a combo of holistic and western medicine approaches. We had a girl that was 100% bald and scabbed over quite a bit due to Demodex mange, and she now has a good 90% of her hair back, no scabs, and is as happy as can be.

nope, not here, but the newest issue of the Whole Dog Journal has a really good article on staph infections in dogs.

I had a shih tzu that had terrible skin issues...I was working at a grooming salon at the time that sold Natural Life Lambaderm dog food and had seen the results on some of our "clients".I switched her over to that and it was like a miracle.
