Nope, we keep our house trashcan in our laundry room with the door closed, and our trash can outside is a big can with wheels and the lid is attached, I don't think they could knock it over if they tried, but as far as I am aware nobody has tried.
Reggie tries once in awhile, but it's the smaller ones that he can actually get his head into. He leaves the big one in the kitchen alone. We have to keep our smaller ones in closets because he likes to pull mommy's dirty tissues out and rip them apart. It's gross.. lol
My dog charlie has a real problem getting into the trash. He is small but he can stand up and get whatever is in there or he stands on a table. If there are diapers in the trash he loves those or if we have a few crumbs from our food, he gets that too. So we have to shut doors if we aren't in that room.
