This was posted on another group I'm on. It's interesting, and the fact was brought up that maybe it was for the best since the lady was preggers. What do you all think? Me I'd hunt the lady down and throw her sorry butt in jail, being preggers or not, having a child has no being whatsoever on whether you can care for a pet, IMHO

OMG! That is absolutely ricidulous! I would have been livid if someone did that with my dog. It is stealing and she should be in jail regardless if she's had some rough times in her life. Who the he** hasn't? Give me a break! I hope that couple is able to get their dog back.

Yes, I have seen that article before... It absolutely floors me that someone could "steal" someone else's dog, give it to their child as a gift, and then send that letter with a $20 bill. The woman who did that needs a serious reality check... Just because you are in hard times does not justify stealing...

Amazing.

ITA and personally I'd find the woman and press charges and take the dog back that's just plain WRONG! Not to mention Pugs typically have a slew of health problems, doesn't sound like the woman is financially able to care for the pup and who knows if dad is, another one of the we didn't think things through scenario and unfortunately the woman who truly owns the dog as well as the dog will be the ones paying. That is so sad!
