We've had 2 but kept neither. Well one we really did adopt but he got SO hyper that he would nip (and hard) and having a newborn that just wasn't working out so we found him a good home with a couple that wasn't having children and wanted a dog that was never too tired to play. Dumbest dog I EVER met, you could put him outside for an hour and within a few minutes he was peeing or pooping in the house it was horrible. He was a Boxer Lap mix...head of a lab body of a boxer.
then we rescued a pup who was 6-7 weeks old on the side of the road no intention of keeping her and gave her to a rescue when she was old enough. They were guessing a Border Collie/Rottie mix, but she looked Border Collie with Rottie colors. Awful dog as well, had HORRIBLE submissive urination to the point that rescue adopted her to a couple that were moving to Wyoming on 3 acres of land. anytime anyone got near her she'd pee everywhere and then run to get away from them and walk in it, etc it was awful.
Haven't had great luck with "mutts". We'll be sticking with the purebreds LoL.
