<div align="center">Are there any guinea pig owners here?

I adopted a piggy 6 weeks ago & named him Simon.

Here he is with my 2 year old cat Rusty.

Yep! We're guinea pig owners.

We have a three month old Satin Abysinnian female, her name is Porkchop. Real sweetheart.

Thanks!

Your piggy is cute as a button, too. I take it he doesn't mind your kitty?

<div align="center">Yeah they get along pretty well.
I'm sure the cat would eat him "If"
he had the chance but they do coexist
very nicely lol.</div>

Popping in as I used to own guinea pigs. I was just wondering what size cage you have your little babes in? Pet stores usually sell cages "for" guinea pigs that are just WAY too small and WAY too expensive! We made a cage for ours and we spent $30 on it and it was FABULOUS. Here is a link to a website that was SO helpful in explaining and designing our C&C cage. Here's some photos of the one we made:

anyway, like I said, it was super easy to make, the piggies loved it, and it only cost $30 for all the supplies! Definitely worth it! Also, if you're a first time piggy owner, please know that they need more than just store bought guinea pig food, they need hay/grass and fresh veggies too!
