Or to DH/SO as Daddy? When you are talking to your pets?

Like saying, "Hold on, Mama will get you some food." Or "Mama will let you out." and one of my main phrases, "Daddy's home!"

Just wondering if Im the only weirdo out there..lol

I do sometimes, but I also don't talk about myself in the third person , so instead of saying "mama will get you some food" I tend to say "I'll get you some food" but I speak to my son the same way. Now if my husband walks in the door sometimes I'll say "daddy's home" or "go get daddy" or something like that, but then it's speaking of my hubby in the 2nd person and it makes sense. So yes we do, but definitely not on a daily basis and I don't refer to myself with a name I typically say "I" whether it be my son or the dogs.

Yes ever since I became a Mama to my first born Alissa. Before I didn't, I thought it was weird.

Yes we are mommy and daddy. The kids are the girls. When the bus pulls up I'll always say your girls are home and she gets so excited with her whole body wiggling 100 miles an hour.
