What are your dog & cat i.d. tags made of... Aluminum, brass, plastic, or stainless steel?
Which have you found hold up the best?

We have used all three. I don't recomend plastic, at all, we had pieces of plastic all over the house within 10 minutes of having the tags on their collars. Both the aluminum and stainless steel worked very good, although aluminum is not nearly as strong as the stainless steel, some have even broken off the the collar. All of our new tags are stainless steel, and we're in the process of switching everyone over to stainless.

Stainless Steel for Casper, brass for bob and fluff.

We used plastic and aluminum. both of those worked for all the pets cept Casper. For some reason the ring would rub on the tag and break off, twice on him. So we just got him a steel one yesterday, hopefully it will stay on!

We got fluff and bob brass, cuz the stainless steel only came in a large size and i needed smaller. Bob's old one was aluminum, but wehad to replace it, due to a change of phone number. And this is Fluffs first tag, so hopefully it wil hold up.

All Caesar has is his rabies tag. I have made tags at Petco for all the animals tho but they don't wear them.
