One of the biggest wastes of money I ever invested in! I went through 3 or 4 of them (company DID replace them free of charge as they were under warranty) with only 3 cats. They'd get stuck ALL of the time, the unit simply stopped working multiple times, it was more trouble than it was worth and since it got stuck all of the time I was scooping anyway.
I now have the Booda Dome and LOVE it, and it was only $25!
Bob used to watch it move, he would sit and wait until it moved and just watch, then jump in and it would stop and he would get so frustrated!
I had it for about 2 years with 2 cats and it did well. The thing with it is you gotta follow the directions to a T or it will mess up and get stuck.
One you have to have scoopable litter and you cant put a bunch ofit in there or it will get stuck.
My only problem with it was that the receptacles that held the dirty litter were quite pricey, and they filled up weekly. So I just dumped, rinsed and reused.
Im not sure exactly what happened to it, but one day I went to check it, and the the thing that scrapes the litter was cracked and wouldnt move. So I just tossed it, since I only had one cat left. I figured since Bob peepeed in the toilet and only poopooed in the box, I could get by with a plain box. I got a domed top with a door, so Fluff couldnt get in it and its working out just fine!
