I went to the OB expecting an U/S.. but I definitely didn't expect ANOTHER transvaginal! UGH! hate'em!
ANYWAYS.. baby doesn't look so much like a blob anymore. Is still measuring with a D/D of Oct 8 (the doctor swears I had to have had sex closer to conception, I WOULD KNOW! it didn't happen!)
I see arms and legs!
whats' funny is I think it looks like Holden when he was about a week farther along than newbaby:

Baby looks great!
Take a look at the 1st picture of the ultrasound and on the botton right hand corner, it says EDD 09/26
Just wondered if you had noticed?

That is a great picture! I wish my last u/s pic had been that clear. It is so blurry that I can't tell what's what.

that would be my D/D if I had a 28 day cycle, which I don't. My cycles are 40+ days. She even showed me the measurement differences, a baby with a DD of 9/26 would be almost twice the size of my bean. There's a 2nd DD below that according to the measurements

Forgot to quote whoever asked where Holden's name is from- it's from Catcher in the Rye
HAH noticed I cut the 2nd DD off. I asked her the same thing when I saw the EDD according to my last period (dec 27th).

oh, I forgot to mention that they sent me home with a 24 hr urine lab and are making me go back tomorrow for all my labwork (including blood)
THANKS! I don't have anyone to watch Holden tomorrow so i'll have to take him with me.. which I totally wanted to avoid.
I had like 5 24-hour urine labs while preggo with Holden.. I hate them!
They said if my blood pressure gets high again they "want something to base it on"..
how my pee will tell them anything about my blood pressure I don't know. I'm already tired of peeing into a trough and pouring it into a container that sits in my fridge. yuck-o!

Errr... so jealous that you already got to have 2 u/s!!!!! Lucky!!!!! I still have yet to get one!!! I see my doctor Thursday FINALLY!!!

my OBGYN is very liberal with the U/Ss luckily.. but I don't think i'll be getting another until 20 weeks. With Holden we paid for a 4d at 16 weeks for gender determination early.. I don't know that we'll be doing that this time around so I have a long wait for another
