Levi's not. I don't think he's really close, either. He really tries avoiding it at all costs and will end up "melting" to the floor if I try to get him to.
I'm happy with where we are, but I do have moments of "I wish he would just walk!". He's almost 25 pounds and a real "sack of potatoes" baby. Just dead weight and doesn't help at all when I'm carrying him. In fact, most the time, I put him on my hip and he goes into flat as a board mode. . Making it impossible to carry him.
He's a strong willed baby though, always has been. He wants to do something, he will try and try until he does it. He doesn't want to do something, there is no way I can sway him to do it.
I can't believe he's not walking, though. He reached so many milestones early, so I was just expecting an early walker. All I can say is that I really hope he's walking before the new baby comes!
I'm not worried about it.. I know he will learn it eventually.. My daughter was a late walker as well.. Now she can run up and down stairs with ease,etc..
Peyton isn't walking just yet. She will hold your hand and walk but that is it. I hate to say this but I haven't really been pushing her to walk either - I carry her around a lot. Her dad will be home very soon and I would like her to take her first steps when he can see them....
Billy is taking a step or 2 on his own here and there. He will hold on to my hand and walk. I am not in a rush. He will walk on his own when he is ready.
Lucy walks well on her knees. Not so much on her feet. She'll do it when she's ready. She'll occasionaly take a step or two but not often. I'm in no rush for her to walk.
Not walking here. He just started pulling himself up in the last week. Now he is cruising very well, basically made it around the living room tonight on the couch, end table, my leg, and toy chest. I'm not in any hurry, he's into enough stuff crawling, he's a curious one.
Not walking, but is finally standing on his own. We have a ton of family & friends with kids his age. They are all starting to walk. I would be lying if I said I didn't care, but another part of me isn't ready. The part that doesn't want to chase him. Haha.

I can totally relate!
I learned with all my others- they'll walk when they're ready, and not before. My last, two ds's didn't walk until they were 17 months. I think she'll be walking before then, though.
No walking here. Catie has taken 1 step a couple of times, but that's it. She'll walk along furniture, but if you hold her hands she just falls to the floor. My other girls didn't walk until the ages of 13-16 months.

she has taking steps and she can bring her self to stand up everyonce in a while or when she feels like it but she is lazy i think its because she can honestly crawl really fast and so maybe she dosent care to walk yet .
Liam is not walking. I do believe he can, but doesn't choose to. He will walk around with his little doll stroller, which tips with the slightest amount of pressure. But doesn't care to actually walk on his own. I figure he is just quick crawling and climbing and has no reason to need to walk. I am not worried, he will do it when he wants. He already gets into so much, I am not rushing him at all. I did not walk until 14 months.
