Actually, it's kind of funny... I was conceived almost the exact day Jay was born. LOL So, 9 months.

Brandon is just shy of 2 years older than me. I am 31 and he is 32 I was born in March of 1980 and he was May of 1978.
i knew I was going to marry Brandon when I meet him as well.

Hubby is 11 1/2 years older than me. I had just turned 26 when we got married and he was 37. It works perfectly for us. I personally don't think I could be with someone only a year or two older. The few times I tried it was a disaster. I've just never really gotten along with guys my age. My grandparents had the same age difference that we do and it worked for them as well.

We have about a 7.5 year age gap. I like being with an older guy. Guys my age are still floundering.

I totally understand! I look at girls my age, dating guys my age and have to shake my head, it's so rare you find a younger guy who has any sense of family. At least around here, most are too busy partying still.

DH is definitely out of the norm here. I only know one other dad our age that wanted to be a dad. I don't know how most of them do it. Partying for two years was plenty for me! I couldn't imagine still being in that stage. Sounds tiring!

Ditto dh is not the norm eaither he was never really a partier and always wanted kids, he is way more responsible and stable than most 25 year old guys i know, i just got lucky
