Yes - People keep telling me A.J is fine and he does not have Autism and I'm over reacting. Of course these are people who know nothing about Autism.

I think people don't realize that he is older then he looks because he is so short. He is still in 18 months. So people assume he's a one year old and think is actions are okay for his age. But in reality he is not one and when you put him together with kids his age, there is a difference.

Really? Is it because they share the same birthday? I think it's kinda cool that they do.. You can do two birthdays at once. My kids are the same months apart as your kids. I've always thought it was normal for people to have kids two years apart.. I just wish I knew what I was walking into.. But in the end they will be close so that's worth it..

Sure, I just generally dont' care.

My birth and childrearing choices are at the top of the list. Mostly I figure people who judge them just don't understand them. And that is fine with me, since there are things I judge about due to lack of knowledge. I think it is the general human condition. But I know people judge me based on first impressions...which classically leave them thinking I am a Witch-with-a-B because I am very outspoken and sarcastic. I have been told by numerous people that they needed to be around me two or three times before they actually "got" me. I dunno if that is a good or bad thing!

And Natty...every so often someone will comment on my children's spacing. And like Adrianna's Mom, I always thought it was pretty average to have kids about two years apart. But apparently that surprises some people. It's just personal preference. I can't imagine having kids who are 6-7 years apart any more than they can imagine having kids less than two-years apart.

Mabey about sharing a birthday but I get lots of comments on it I like that they share I am a rein so I do too it never bothered me. I think the other part is people know I struggled a lot the first 3 months but what they don't know the whole story, complicated birth, PTSD, bad colic and I have to say untill you have a baby with colic you don't get it I know I didn't untill I had Alex it's hard

I'm often judges as a military wife... a lot of our civilian family judge us for everything we go - having children in our "lifestyle", to wanting to extend in Italy so our oldest can graduate from, to me wanting to work while over here... I just ignore them for the most part...

Yes, mostly for having Lucy. We have been told by a few people (family and strangers) that having her was 'risky'.
