I like to keep at least 4 ready in the fridge......

especially when we used powder....the bubbles settled better when I made them ahead of time.

Nope I make them as needed... I hate warming them up. However DH will get the water ready and the powder ready in a dispenser and I can put it together (which comes in handy when James is extra mad!)

I usually make them for the whole day unless I'm tired or preoccupied (I don't let anyone else make her formula). I don't mind warming them. I usually have an idea of when she wants to eat and I take her cues. So I have it ready before she starts wailing.

I always made them as needed. The formula we used could only be prepared for an hour before it went bad, so you couldn't make it and leave it in the fridge. And it only took a second to put water in the bottle and add the formula. Was no big deal for me.

What formula did you two use?

I know the directions on my formula says that prepared formula can stay in the fridge for 24 hours. But after its been eaten out of it has to be used or thrown out within the hour.

Sorry, the instructions on my formula are the same...

I was agreeing with it only taking a second to pour the water and add formula.

We use RTF, so when I opened a can for formula, I just pour it into the bottles and keep it in the fridge. We she's hungry, we warm it up and she's ready to go.

I used to make a few ahead for the night time but now that she sleeps through it I don't bother. We just make them on demand now!

I make them as needed. I never thought about preparing the formula ahead of time.
