When you go out with your LO, how much formula do you take with you?

Its times when I go out that I really wish I could use RTF. I usually end up cutting it close and having just the right amount. So, for that last errand or two I'm on pins and needles hoping we make it home before she runs out.

when we used powder, I would put enough scoops of it in a zip lock baggie and bring some bottles of water with us if I thought we might be longer than expected....and dont forget the scooper !

I have two formula dispensers (we use powder) that I fill up and bring 2 bottles of water, along with 3-4 empty bottles. Sounds crazy BUT we do live an hour away from the nearest town, and while I never use them all, when we are out running errands so far away from home I need to be a little overly prepared.

It really depends on how long I will be gone. I have little tupperware containers that I put enough powder in to make 4oz of formula. I fill three (sometimes four) of them and get two bottles of water.

I think I still have some of those little Tupperware containers somewhere! I wish I had kept the scoop from the empty container I just threw away so I could put it in my diaper bag.

I take a couple bottles of nursery water and a formula dispenser with the powder pre-measured.

I use to just take the whole can of formula with me. It fit in the diaper bag.

I usually take a ready-made bottle that will cool down to the right temp just at the time she'll want it, but she usually won't drink a bottle away from home

i just take the can of formula (powder) it fits in the diaper bag or if i need to carry the diaper bag i just leave it in the car. i take about 2-3 bottles and put about 2-4 oz of water in each. i have a car bottle warmer and usually have i bottle of warm water. so fat i'v found out that its better to just take the can of formula

its better to be safe then sorry

The mini Tupperware container was working out for me at first. But the other day while we were out it spilled open! There was powder everywhere and I had a hungry baby! I was scared to death! Thankfully, she took her paci and drifted back off to sleep until we got home shortly after. So, it looks like I'll have to resort to carrying the whole can with me from now on...at least until I find a better way.

I have a formula dispenser with the separater so I can measure out a few bottles into it, then I just bring a few bottles with me..usually way more than Ill use..but I like to be prepared! I also carry a bottle of water..but she likes her bottle warm so its hard to do it that way!

We have a formula dispenser that holds enogh for 3-4 bottles, can't remember off hand, and then I usually take one already made along.

I have the formula separator that holds enough for 3 bottles, so I usually bring that measured for the 3 bottles, and then 3 bottles filled with water. He usually takes warm bottles at home, I have a car warmer also, so it works out in the end

I've never seen these formula separators/dispensors. I may have to look around the web for one.
