After two kids and lots of experimenting....here's what I've found to work.

I use Oxiclean spray before I put them in the wash. Then, I use whatever detergent we have (I don't use Dreft of All Baby or anything like that). But I think the key is adding Borax...it really helps and keeps the colors bright. And I wash all CJ's clothes in warm water. So far, all the spit up stains, formula stains and baby food stains have come out. Even on her bibs, which are usually pretty bad.

And the good part is, Borax is alot cheaper than Clorox for colors and most everything else. Just wanted to share what I've found to work for us.

You're welcome! Hope it works for you, too! Formula is so hard to get out of clothes. I wish I would've discovered it when Wyatt was a baby...I've got so many clothes I could never resale b/c of formula stains.

So, its Oxyclean + Detergent + Borax...

What is Borax? Is it in the detergent aisle? Is that the actual name of it?

It's a powder, and I always find it in the detergent aisle with the rest of the laundry stuff. At my Walmart, it's close to the liquid bleaches and stuff. And it's in a green box and is called "Mule Team Borax." I just spray the clothes with oxiclean and add the borax to the washer right along with the detergent.
