Oh yeah!!

We were out one time when she had just started taking four ounces at a time, up form two at a time. I had pre-measured formula in one of those little sectioned containers, but they only had one scoop in each, so enough for a two ounce bottle. I had forgotten about this, and put four ounces of water in with one scoop of formula - twice as much water than what I supposed to do!!

She was SO fussy that night! I didn't even realize what I had done until the next day when I went to clean out her bag and refill it. I was like... WHOOPS!!!

Not this time, but I did with Wyatt. Usually, I was either too sleepy or distracted when I was mixing up a bottle. And I couldn't remember if I put the right number of scoops in. So I'd dump it out and start over. Now, I try to pay more attention when I'm making bottles.

I used to use plastic bottles at home and the drop-ins when we went out so I didn't have to to worry about rinsing out a bottle. Before I knew about how the labeling was off, I mixed Trinity's up wrong. It made her spit-up right after eating. Now I don't even bother with the drop-ins anymore.

Nope. DH has though. Apparently he can't divide by 2, lol (6oz=3 scoops)

I haven't yet... but I found out DH was! I asked him to mix up an 8 ounce bottle, he filled it ALL THE WAY past the 9 oz line to where a 10 probably would be and then added 4 scoops... I was like whoa! What are you doing?

Gotta give him credit, at least he tried, he wouldn't even do that a couple months ago

When Caden was still waking at night to eat I did once, and forgot how many scoops I put in so I dumped and started over, but my doc told me to be very careful because too much water can weaken their defence system because they are not getting the right ammt of nutrients so I was sort of scared to ever mess up, which I didnt. I used the expandable drop ins and would always make sure I put water in them so they were measured using the expandable side for 10oz instead of regular drop ins 8 oz side.....

Yeah after my DD started daycare she got very constipated and it ended up being because the daycare people didn't follow my directions and were using the wrong side of measurements on the bottle. So she was getting WAY to much formula powder and not enough water -

This is one reason why I flip out if anyone but me mixes her formula. Some people (even though they mean well) are just careless and aren't gonna take the extra time to pay attention to details. I measure the water right on the line and I pay extra attention if I need to how much is in the scoop. Trinity takes 5 oz so I have to stare down that half scoop.
