For the moms who have formula fed their older children, can you tell us about their experience transitioning to whole milk? What formula were they on and did they adjust easily or not?

I'm not much help, I think. We stopped bottles with Luke when he was around nine months (he was eating so much, bottles weren't doing it - we were doing through $50 of formula a week because he was on the Alimentum), and then just started giving him milk at 12 months. He drinks fat free now, and seems fine most of the time. If he gets too much of it he gets a stomach ache, though.

I've been wondering because I've read that babies who drink a lactose free or reduced lactose formula can have tummy troubles when transitioning to whole milk, and we use Gentlease so we fall in that category!
