Has anyone tried any of the new Enfamil formulas? I was just on their website and apparently they've added some new formulas to their line. The newbies expand upon the staple formulas that they already offer.

The Enfamil Premium Lipil w/ Triple Shield expands on the regular Lipil by adding their new patented "Triple Health Guard" which promotes growth, brain/eye development, and immunity. Enfamil's answer to Simlac's Early Shield. DHA and ARA are still present.

Also new is the Nutramigen w/ Enflora LSG. This formula promises to reduce colic faster, within 48 hours. The Enflora LSG is a probiotic used to promote immune system balance. Also present is hydrolyzed protein. These two ingredients combined are said to improve baby's skin up to 18 months and aid with digestion in addition to helping with colic.

I just got a free sample of the Premium from our pediatrician today. Don't really know what the difference is other than the triple guard. he didn't really think it was anything different other than some immunity builder.

I have the Nutramigen. I bought one of the old one day and then a couple day later bought one of the new. I didn't really see a difference.

I won't be trying them, as Kaylin needs AR...

BUT I have $9.00 worth of coupons for the Premium, if anyone wants them, PM me!

I finally compared the ingredients of the lipil and premium Lipil and only difference is one more mg of Vitamin K and more iodide. one different ingredient a soy thing. Emily likes it just the same so don't know if worth the extra dollars. i have a feeling they will get rid of the plain Lipil.

Julie I was thinking the same thing. Similac just discontinued some of their formulas, so maybe the Premium is gonna replace the regular Lipil.

Jackson hadn't had a diaper blowout since I started him on formula at one month old. He had the Lipil Premium for a couple of days and had the biggest blowout ever! I don't know if it was a coincidence but it's happened every time we've tried it!
I have some big cans of it in the closet again and I'm going to try to use it again...if not we're switching to Parent's Choice because he's done great on it!

Him, I have never posted on the FF forum yet but was looking here for this info too! MY baby is on nutramegen and I accidently picked up the one with enflora... I really hope they are not discontiuning the old one b/c I don't like the new one at all... first it is only 12.6 oz where the other is 16oz can! Also I noticed since she has been drinking it she is spitting up a ton, which she has never been like this... I just bought a bunch of cans of the original version to switch back. Has anyone noticed this with their baby?? I really hope they continue to make the original formula b/c I feel so bad when she is spitting up so much, it upsets her too
