I don't remember the exact year but I think they told my brother and I at the same time and he was 18 months older than me, so I guess I was probably 8-ish? But I remember we were on our way home from our Christmas celebration at my grandmother's house in the car when they told us - but I'm not sure if it was before or after Christmas that year.
LMAO... I was 12! Yes, 12! And it was my YOUNGER sister that told me (she was 8)! When I was little my parents would have a close friend of the family dress up like Santa and come to our house every Christmas Eve. So, I saw Santa in our house ever year...he had to be real! One year my sister saw him get in his car and drive away..she realized who the car belonged to..end of the Santa story.
^^awww LOL.....I think I was 8, 9 or 10? I can't exactly remember, I just sort of figured it out on own. It wasn't a hugely traumatic event for me, it kinda made me feel in awe of my parents that they had pulled it off that long and that they were really the ones giving me all of my Christmas wishes
