I opened a 12.6 oz. can of Similac Sensitive powder tonight to make up some bottles, and it's different from what I've been using. The first thing I noticed was that the inner seal was different--usually it's sort of a plasticky-foil vacuum sealed lid; this one was what I'd call "old fashioned"--it was aluminum and had a pop top on it (like a Coke can). The second thing is the powder itself--it's slightly darker yellow and not as powdery (hard to explain). It just hit me that this is EXACTLY like the Parents Choice Sensitivity formula (the color and texture of it). Has anyone else noticed this? The cans are in date (good through May 2012) and I checked the lot number at Similac's website, and they're fine. Anyone else notice this?

Yes, sticky is the perfect word to describe it!! The inside of the can isn't wet or anything--the powder just seems more sticky/clumpy.

I use the liquid kind, but I do remember it being sticky when I was using the powder. Almost clumpy, but not big clumps if that makes sense.
