I opened a 12.6 oz. can of Similac Sensitive powder tonight to make up some bottles, and it's different from what I've been using. The first thing I noticed was that the inner seal was different--usually it's sort of a plasticky-foil vacuum sealed lid; this one was what I'd call "old fashioned"--it was aluminum and had a pop top on it (like a Coke can). The second thing is the powder itself--it's slightly darker yellow and not as powdery (hard to explain). It just hit me that this is EXACTLY like the Parents Choice Sensitivity formula (the color and texture of it). Has anyone else noticed this? The cans are in date (good through May 2012) and I checked the lot number at Similac's website, and they're fine. Anyone else notice this?
we use that and the small cans do have a top like that and it is more yellowy and sort sticky? I put a ? because I am not sure that is the right word LOL, it is definitely different from regular Similac though!
