Well Caleb is home and doing great. His surgery took about an hour. He had it a little hard coming out of anesthesia and screamed his head off for about 20 minutes. It worried me because I have never seen him so upset but in the long run he was fine. Caleb is sleeping now and will probably sleep most of the day.
The pastor of our church stopped by before the surgery to offer a blessing and the assistant Pastor, who is also a friend of mine, came by afterwards. The assistant pastor stopping by was a blessing because Grace was not allowed back in recovery. So the our AP stayed in the waiting room with Grace while DH and I went back. I'm so glad she was there because it took both DH and I to calm Caleb down as he recovered from the anesthesia.
Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers, it really meant a lot to me. I was a nervous wreak this morning but it helped knowing so many people were thinking of us.
Anyway, here are some pictures:
Before Surgery (So thankful they put him to sleep BEFORE starting the IV)
After surgery. Poor little man's eyes are bloody and swollen.
awww poor baby! glad it went well! when my dd had anesthesia the coming out was the worst, 20 minutes of hysteria, scared the crapola out of me! so I can relate! I hope his recovery is short and he is back to himself soon!
