Well, not from JM...just from this board but I'm going to try to come back and post more often again.
Caleb is almost 9 months old. Right now he is eating 8 oz 4 times a day of the Target up and up brand. He is also eating solids 3 times a day.
Have any of you ever put formula in a sippy cup? I plan to begin to wean Caleb off of the bottle in the next few months...with DD I just kept the bottle for formula and everything else when into the sippy. I'm thinking this time around I might just start using the sippy for everything. Well, as soon as I can get him to take a sippy LOL
At 12 months I switched Gaby to whole milk & in the end she hated it - so lost her bottle all together. She had water from a sippy & that was it - her calcium came from yogurt & cheese.. no matter how much I tried to get her to drink milk, she just wouldn't
I never did formula in a sippy, with dd I started milk in her sippy at meals and then kept the bottle for just formula, by 12months she was down to just 1 bottle before bed and around 14 months or so she got a tummy bug and couldn't have dairy so the that was that, after that moment she never had a bottle again and just had milk in her sippy. I plan to do pretty much the same with Sam, I will start giving him whole milk with his meals and hope to be done with bottles by 12-13months, but Sam is a pretty big fan of his morning and bedtime bottles so this might be a bit harder with him, during the day I think he will be fine without at bottle but morning and bedtime I am not so sure LOL
