When do you do this? I tried a bottle of milk formula with Lilah a few weeks ago and she did not handle it well at all. I don't know if she would just need a few days to get used to it or if she truly can't tolerate it but she was so fussy and puking a lot from just the one bottle. Her pedi said that they usually outgrow the intolerance around 9 months to a year so I guess I'll try again in three months.

I know this is old but I thought I would respond. It might even be longer than a year. My son is 9 months and nowhere near ready to trial milk. He's on neocate. Sometimes it can last up to 3 yrs. So tread lightly and just try a little at a time to prevent a bad reaction.

How does your baby react to milk?

I just gave her 4oz soy with 2oz milk formula. She's 7 months old. We'll see how she is doing after her nap.
