I just bought my son the simply right gentle baby formula from sam's club. I have had him on enfamil since during birth, mostly gentlease lipil. Well, besides breast milk.

I tried one 8oz sample can of similac from the hospital and he projectile vomited that stuff everywhere! He had really bad gas since birth no matter what. He had colic for several months until recently. He was waking 10-20 times a night for most of his life, until recently.

Lately his tummy has been bothering him more again. I can hear the gas in his guts and his farting has increased again. He also started waking himself up farting HORRIBLE stinky farts more often at night in the last couple days. His poop has smelled especially bad lately also. I have been increasing the gripe water again. Seems to help somewhat. He has never had baby food. The only thing I can think of that has changed lately is I have added the enfamil multivitamin supplement drops to his milk. Would this be the cause of the increase in his gas? Do you think changing formulas is going to be bad for him or should I have tried a different brand other than the two most popular brands a long time ago?

The gentlease made my son worse. We put him on regular formula (then on babys only organic later) and everything was so much better. less gas and the horrible nasty smelling poops were gone. Both of my sons had problems with corn syrup which is the main ingredient in gentlease
