I am on WIC so we will be on Similac. However, I have gotten a lot of samples of Enfamil. I know that the amount WIC provides doesn't always cover what a baby needs in a month so using the samples would obviously help with cost.

Would mixing the two be ok? Anyone with experience doing this?

I wouldn't do anything that could potentially be a problem. I have heard of a lot of people switching back and forth based on what is on sale but haven't heard much about mixing.

From what my pedi said they pretty much contain the same ingredients, so I don't know that it'd be an issue, but I'd probably just ask my pedi to be on the safe side.

Maybe you could switch with a mommy that uses Enfamil? I know in my state WIC uses Enfamil...

Good luck!

I wondered the same thing because I know with our dogs if we change food we are supposed to slowly add the new food so I wasn't sure if it was the same with baby formula. I received a lot of free samples of formula and only have one more container of the one brand we are using so not sure if I should stick with it or try out the other formulas. I also pump so I alternate between formula and breastmilk thus don't want to make my son's stomach upset.
