Do you give your baby a bottle in his/her bed?

I've never done this with either of my kids.

Jackson is still much to young for this, but I don't plan to.

Girl you brought up a scary topic ***break out the gloves*** LOL LOL!!! I don't either, it is so bad for their teeth and gums and I don't need him sucking any extra air. I have never had a gassy or fussy baby and I don't plan on starting anytime soon.

I don't think I'll be doing that... if he's hungry, he'll wake me up and I will feed him. No biggie.

Never have and never will. I give them their bottles and I stay awake with them until they are done. That way I know they didnt choke, suck air in, or anything else.

i won't i'm too scared to.i had a friend who would get up in the middle of the night, toss the baby a bottle and go back to bed while he ate.thank god he never choked on it but he did end up with major stomach problems, maybe from not being burped after eating.

yes i'll be honest (just dont use the gloves on me)

if you want honesty i have done this before, i dont do it habitually and i dont make it a habit but i will say that is has been done in our household. his bottle is his security blanket, i've tried binkies, toys and lovies and no go.

i started the bad habit but he usually..not always has to have a bottle to go to bed even just to know that it's there, he likes to just chew on the nipple.

never have and never will. I know how bad it can be and to be honest I dont like the idea of him having liquid in his bed either. He has never choked on a bottle and I dont even know if thats a possibilty but it scares me that he could.

Ryleigh starts coughing and/or choking easily and she does spit up sometimes, so I'm definitely not going to give her bottles in bed. She sleeps through the night, so there's no reason to anyway.

I don't and never will. My friends little girl has rotted teeth because of it. I like my sons teeth just as they are.

I guess I will be one of the odd balls here and admit that I did do this with my older dd...but not till she was about 7-8months and holding a bottle on her own...it was very rarily if she woke up in the middle of the night...she never took a pacifier and so she liked the confort. However she wasw completely off the bottle by 1..so it didn't last long---and she never had any tummy problems or teeth problems.....so I know they say its bad but....

I don't know if I will do it this time around or not.

yes yes, I do. Never until they are old enough to hold their own bottle very well. My daughter didnt sleep through the night until she was 10 months old, and my son is like 11 days from being a year old and he doesn't sleep through the night yet. It's been forever since I've had a full night's sleep. Sometimes I do what I can to get as much sleep as possible to deal with them during the day! My son will be bottle broke very soon though, so it won't be happening much longer.

My daughter dosen't hold her bottle to feed herself so she dosen't take a bottle to bed. I don't think she ever will by 1 I plan on being done with the bottle anyway.
