Hey girls. Finally got a chance to update after all of the visitors stopped.

I came in for my induction at 5:00am.. everything was started and ready to go at 5:15. Ctx weren't bad yet until they broke my water at 7. I was only about a 2.5 at this point and doc predicted an evening birth.

Ctx really picked up and I was in some pain. Nurse said we would go ahead and get epidural even though doc wanted me to be a 4 and I was between a 3 and 4. I really thought I would be there all day.

By the time the doc got there with the epidural, I was in massive pain. I really wanted someone to shoot me. After he was done (took FOREVER) the nurse checked me and I was at a 7. Literally five minutes later I had the incredible urge to push. Checked me again and I was a 10!

They made me wait for doc to get there from his office. OMG! I wanted to die. It was so awful. The epidural hadn't even began to kick in yet. Doc got there, I pushed about 10 minutes, and Daisy Lauren was born at 8lbs 4oz and 21 inches long at 11:00am. She is absolutely perfect. Total labor time: 5 hours and 45 minutes.

I am still amazed that I had a natural BIRTH! They had my epidural started and stopped in about 20 minutes. It never took effect. And I have to say that it was awful but rewarding. The healing/recovery process is easier this time than it was when I did get the epidural. But, yeah, I totally wanted someone to murder me the last two hours of labor.

I have slept a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes in about 48 hours. Nurse just gave me a sleeping pill so I'll be passed out soon hopefully. Just wanted to share the news.
