Well, its been almost 3wks, so i thought id better do my birth story, lol!

Birth Story......
He is just perfect! He was 8lb 11oz, 52.5cm (20.7inches) long and head was 37cm (14.6in) huge ouch!
Well i went up to be induced on thursday morning 4th June but they were pretty busy up there so we didnt get in to the labour room til 12.45pm - which is when they broke my waters. The doc gave me 2hrs to go into labour by myself or i'd have to have the drip. I started contracting by myself, pretty much straight away - but not too regular or painful. by 2.10pm contrx were cominmg pretty quick and each time they were closer - so i asked for the epidural. He came to give me the epi at round 3pm cos i was only just 5cm's dilated at that point. They got me to sit on the side of the bed but when i stood to move up the bed, all of a sudden his head just dropped into to coming out position - i cant believe how painful that was, so i didnt get my epidural!! They all started yelling at me to lay back onthe bed but i couldnt move - i was frozen. They ended up pushing me back onto the bed and less then 5mins later he was born and on my belly!!
It was all so fast and the pushing part felt really scary cos i was petrified of getting another 3rd degree tear if i didnt have the epi to be able 'control' myself at the pushing part! Well - that didnt happen and i got another 3rd degree tear, which was repaired in the labour room - and because it was repaired there i have to go to the gyno in 6wks to get it all checked etc.
So basically once my waters were broken it was only 2hrs 45mins from start to finish!
