Well we went in on Thursday June 18th at 7:30am to get induced. When I got there they set me up on the monitors, my midwife came in around 8 or 8:30 and checked me and I was 4cm and Anthony was at -2 and 80% effaced. So she broke my water and I started to get some contractions but they weren't very strong or close together. So she started me on the pitocen and then the contractions really started comming and at 11:45 or 12 I got the epidural. After that I felt so much better and just relaxed. At about 1:30pm I started feeling some pressure so I got checked and it was time to push. Well pushing only lasted for 20 or so min. but it was intense. Anthonys heart rate started droping. I heard my midwife say call dr. so and so stat. I'm thinking ***. Then I hear something about might have to use the vaccume. Well they put me on my hands and knees and I pushed with all my might and thank god I got him out. He had his cord around his neck twice. I hear someone say wow he's big. I'm thinking ya no sh*t I've been saying this. Even with the epidural I had so much pressure, he was definitly the hardest delivery out of all my kids.
