After my appointment, dr said that he wanted to try to induce again because she was still not moving much and he though that she was not growing due to my mature placenta. So that night at 9 pm, we checked into the hospital. They started cervadil and let me go to sleep. The contractions started at about midnight. Dr came in at 4 am, no progress (still 4 cm) so he broke my bag of water and started potocin. Contactions picked up pretty shortly after that. However, we still had to wait awhile...
6am- no progress
8 am- thinning out
10 am- 5 cm and very soft/thin
11 am- epi and 9 cm!! Hello!! Call the DR, the says to turn off potocin because he is in a c-section
Noon- trying my hardest not to push...waiting on the dr!!
12:45- Dr arrives, start pushing. Potocin started back up. She keeps hitting my public bone and slipping right back where she started...dr goes to grab lunch (not a good sign)
2 pm- Dr says we have made little progress and he is worried about her, asks to use the vaccume...I don't care what he has to do at this point as long as she comes out, lol
2:35 pm- After 3 attemps at the vaccume, all of which popped off, she finally comes out! Thank God, Mommy was so tired!
Poor girl was coming down the birth cannal crooked, so I could not get her out. She has a bruise above her left eye from hitting my publc bone over and over again, and a bruise on the side of her head from the vaccume. But, when all is said and done, we are healthy and happy! I did tear and needed 4 stiches, not too bad considering.
