Just had my daughters 9 month well-being check and she's doing fine. I had a question about how often and much to feed her. The Pediatrican told me to now get her used to 4 times a day: Morning, Early lunch, mid-afternoon and evening.....some type of food, followed by a bottle. However, she didn't tell me how much of each I should be working for.
It's usually a fight on the food right now (flails about, spitting, grabbing spoon) but I usually can get a #2 Gerber food down her and about 6-7 ounces of formula. Does this sound about right?
Thanks in advance. This is my first post and still have a lot of looking around to do, but looks like a very helpful forum.
The finger foods I was just told were ok too. I wasn't sure since she didn't have teeth yet. We're trying puffs that the office gave us now, and I'm getting cheerios next.
As for baby foods, I've been staying with what she really likes: Pears, applesauce, sweet potatos, squash, green beans. And only this week, have started trying new things like chicken noodle dinner or turkey and beans.
Your right on the stressful part. I've noticed taking a 10 minute break sometimes makes things go much smoother.
