my little one is 6.5 months and he already reaches for my food constantly, cries when i am eating...etc.

he is on stage 2 foods, still BFing and eats cheerios and fruit puffs. he has tried lettuce and chicken(like itsy bitsy, i broke it and gave it to him one at a time) and rice.

what else can i start giving him that is ok before a year that he could pick up and eat on his own?

How about some cooked potatoes and then cut into tiny cubes? Same for cooked carrots. Have you given him any of those wagon wheel puffs? My Sydney loves them and it used to take her forever to eat one and kept her busy lol. Now she eats them like they are nothing.

cooked carrots, beans, green beans, rice, banana, avacado, basically anything that you would buy in jar form that can be safely cut up/cooked by you to give!
