hi ladies,

I am just wondering what your schedules are like for those that have started solids....

I have a feeling I am over feeding Katie at times, she spits up ...ALOT....though not everyday....( and she is teething so the extra drool may be causing it also)

but I am just curious to see what you ladies are doing

Katie is getting 6 oz almost every 2 1/2 hours and has solids 3 times a day...and her "cup runneth over"...lol

.maybe I need to space out the bottles more?

we go to the ped tomorrow, but I like to ask you gals too !
thanks in advance !!!

I'm a first timer so you may choose to take this with a grain of salt. This is what I do with my 5 & 1/2 month old and it seems to be working ok.

7am...6-8oz BM (weekends, nurse for 20 mins)
8am...1/4 c. rice or mixed grains cereal w/ 1/4 c. BM or formula
10:30am...6-8oz formula (weekends, nurse for 20 mins)
1pm...6-8 oz BM (weekends, nurse for 20 mins)
3:30pm...6-8 oz formula or BM (weekends, nurse for 20 mins)
5:30pm...1/4 c. oatmeal cereal w/ 1/4c. BM or formula
plus 1/2 container Gerber Stage 1 veggies
top off with nursing, anywhere between 10-20 mins.
9:00pm..."dream feed" - nurse 20 mins

well this is our schedule
5am nurse
7am nurse
9am 4oz bottle ebm
11am 4oz bottle ebm
1pm 4oz bottle ebm
3 30pm nurse
5pm solids 2oz
5 45pm nurse
6pm bed
we are still on only one meal a day and will probably add a second meal in the next month or so. at the moment she is happy with one meal.
