has anyone made their own baby food with meats?

did you you just precook and use a food processor?

I'd really like to try my own and not use the jar stuff much...

I used a recipe where I used cut up pieces of chicken breast as well as carrots and parsnips and put them all in a shallow pan and cooked them covered for about 15 minutes until everything was soft, then I just put everything in my food processor and ground it up until it was the consistency I was looking for.

I have actual recipes, I'll look for some if you are interested.

I also have been buying silken tofu and mixing it with a variety of things, it goes really good with avocado if your little one likes that. I don't personally eat tofu, but it's a good safe way to give some protein.
