I bought some organic white potatoes the other day, thinking I could use them in homemade baby food. I wanted to prepare them ahead and freeze them, but I'm not sure if you can do that with white potatoes? I was thinking of mashing some with some organic broth and freezing them in ice cube trays like I do other foods. I also wanted to cube others and freeze them in ziplock bags for finger foods. Can I do either of these with white potatoes? Also, any ideas on other foods I can mix them with to make more of a "meal" out of it? Thanks!
Well, it worked great. The true test, though, is in the "delivery," haha! I'll probably mix them with some peas first and see how he likes them. In another month or so I'll make them again and mix with some steamed (chopped or pureed) broccoli and a little cheese. Heck, that sounds good even to ME!
