My son is 9 months old. I am going to nurse him until he's a year. I don't even know how to begin to wean him. He is soooooo addicted to the boob. He wants to nurse when he's tired and he'd rather nurse than eat solid foods sometimes.
I want to start trying to get pregnant again once he hits one year. I have a history of miscarriages, so I don't want to breastfeed while pregnant. I'll be 35 this year and I don't want to wait for him to wean himself - at this rate he may want to nurse until he's a teenager!!
Part of the problem is that I love nursing him, so I haven't really encouraged him to cut back. I'm going to miss it as much as he is!
Any advice on how to wean him, without stopping cold turkey? I have about 2 1/2 months!!
