I'm confused. My dd is almost 8 months (born one month premature, so really she's 7 months developmentally. She started solids at late 6 months. Until a couple days ago she was still primarily breast-fed. She ate 1 1/2 tbs of cereal, 6 ounces of veggies and the rest breast milk. When I told my girlfriend this she said that my dd should be eating way more veggies! Eating every 3 hours at least 5 ounces of veggies 3-4 times a day. So I upped to this amount a couple days ago, but now her diet mainly consists of solids. Aren't solids supposed to compliment and not replace breast milk? The more I research online the more I get conflicting info. What do you ladies think???

Solids are supposed to compliment and not replace. I only feed Xan one jar of stage 2 baby food 3x a day and he is almost 8 months old.
