DS is 8 months and does not have a tooth in sight. I am thinking I should wait for a couple teeth before I start giving tiny pieces of fruit. I feel bad because he seems to have such limited food choices. ANy advice?
Are you giving him baby food? If so then that should be okay for a little bit. I would personally not give my DD anything chunky until she has teeth. Hopefully someone else can give you a better answer! Good luck!
I think it's ok to go ahead with soft pieces of fruits and veggies. When they get their teeth, they get their front teeth first... so they still use their gums to mash their food. They don't chew with their front teeth.
Give it a try, if he's not ready you could always stop and wait a bit longer!
