Hi. One of my first times coming to this particular Forum...so I apologize if someone has already mentioned the following question...
My DD is 20 months. For the most part, she chooses to eat healthy foods. However, the variety of food she eats is soooo small in my opinion. Let me tell you what she eats and hopefully, those of you who have a toddler can give me some other ideas...
Fruit -She'll eat grapes, strawberries, apples and oranges (not often), pears, peaches (only canned)
Pizza (only Cheese)
Spegetti (any kind but prefers marinara sauce)
Mac N Cheese
Spegetti O's (only once in a while)
Foods she won't Eat:
Meat: Hamburger, Chicken, etc.
What else can you suggest? I am sooo happy that she likes fruit and vegetables...the other foods she likes are pretty healthy as well. I wish she would eat meat as this is a good source of protein and I would like to have her eat what we eat so that I'm not making 2 seperate meals. And, not only that but she often only eats fruit for a meal...I don't like that. She needs more balance.
