I know that babies can have an allergy to egg whites, but has anyone given their baby egg yolks?
Emma likes eggs.

We're not there yet.

What age can you start them at?

Emily's only 7 months so I figured at the earliest I'd let her try maybe 10 months but now I'm thinking a year.

Well, my mom didn't realize and Ben had an egg the other day...he didn't seem to have any reaction, so maybe we will start giving him eggs more frequently. Lord knows he needs the protein since he's been on a meat strike lately!

lucy had egg yolks at 6 months. she loved them. i mixed them with a little formula, because egg yolks can be pretty dry.

if you have a history of egg allergies, you really should wait until your LO is at least 2 years old, and it should be discussed with your pediatrician before doing so.

my LO is 9 months today and i think i will introduce her to scrambled eggs soon (we have no food allergies in our family).
