If you use them to make homemade baby food, are you lacking anything, or doesn't it matter so much? We live in WI - where fruit and certain veggies are WAY out of season right now, and I just got into making baby food.
Is using frozen vegetables just as good as fresh? Or not so much? I know you shouldn't use canned b/c of salt and preservatives....
The process of flash-freezing actually preserves and allows for optimal nutrient retention."Fresh" veggies may sit around in trucks and warehouses and criss-cross the country before it even makes it to the store.
