My son is a little over 9 months and wants noting to do with baby food or finger foods!! I don't understand what is wrong! The doctor says he is fine and healthy but I think he needs to be eating more poeple food, he can't have formula forever! When trying to give him finger foods, when is it a good time? When we have a meal or just random times of day? Please help, I'm so confused!
Does he take food from a spoon? I notice if Isaiah wont take finger foods I use a spoon and hegoogles it right up. I wouldn't worry to much, I would keep offering fingerfoods and baby food but wouldn't push it. if he doesn't want it, you can't force him.
I have a May baby as well. YOu should come to the May Mommy, 2005 Playgroup! Anyway, my guy, had a horrid time taking food too. He didn't want it if it had textures, he didn't want very much of it, if it came on a spoon, and even now he is barely putting things in his mouth. It was only 6 days ago he accepted something textured in his mouth without spitting it out, and he is over 10.5 mo. old. Just keep trying. Try different things. I finally gave him some barley (we are avoiding wheat, due to potential allergies) biter/teething bisquits and let him go to town. He figured it out and liked that. Just keep offering/trying. He should get the hang of it, and as long as he isn't thin or something, I wouldn't worry about it, at all.
Jewelry for yourself, or for a friend. Breastfeeding aides, beautiful bracelets, earings and more.
every baby is different, Im sure there is nothing wrong. Just keep trying but dont force it each time b/c they say that can make them want it even less. If he doesnt seem to eat with u then try him eating random times or if he doesnt seem to eat at random times try eating with you. Like I said every baby is different. Im sure he will come around!
