Just curious. I want to start introducing more solid-like foods, but all she's had so far is cheerios, rice crispies, geber puffs, wheels & biter biscuits, and mashed potatoes....

Haha, I guess not. I give him gerber stuff, (fruits, veggies)or rice cereal, I have started giving him Rye crackers and barley teething bisquits. We are SLOW with the solids though. We are starting some lentils and other legumes later this week. All ground up though, he just doens't like textures. AT LEAST I have gotten him to gnaw on crackers and things.

You go Suz!! WTG w/ the crackers! Today we fed Nat two Ritz and two Saltines, and she ate them really well!! Yay!! Nat was the same way w/ the textures, it took her awhile for her to be 'liking' it. But, now she's doing better. I think I want to try 'cheese' but I'm unsure of what I can try. Maybe I'll have to post that as a header.

I babysit with a 10 month old and her parents have been having me try as many table foods as I can to see what she will eat and so far here are the things I can get her to eat:

Crackers, cheerios, animal crackers, applesause, mashed potatoes, pork and beans, corn, bread (of any kind), vienna sausages, tuna, pinapple, bananas, oatmeal (with fruit), pizza, spagettios.

I can't think of anything else I have tried on her that she would eat, but I've only been feeding her like this for about 4 weeks. Pretty much if it can be cut really small or is soft we will try it and she has liked almost everything we have tried so far. Good luck.

Oh yeah, she also loves cheeses, and juices of all kinds.

And shaved turkey luncheon meat.
