By "goodstart2" do you mean 'follow-up' formula or just the fancier version of the regular stuff?

I'm from Canada and I think that the labels may be different here. You see, there are 3 kinds that I have seen: 1. Nestle goodstart(0-12months+),2. a fancier version with omega acids, 3. follow-up transition(6-18months+).

My son, Elan, has been on the regular goodstart since birth. The only real difference between the first two I listed is the added omega and price. My doctor told me the original was just fine.

As for the follow-up, I was told they are not necessary. They have extra calcium, but also contain more sugars (corn syrup etc...). I personally don't feel the need to switch since Elan does very well as is.

I hope this helps!

I believe it was the follow up one. The one for babies from 6 months to 12 months. So it has more calcium and more sugar?
