We gave DS cereal at 3 months because his reflux was so bad. We gave veggies at 4 months.

I voted 5 months - we started Ben on cereal sporadically at about 5.5 months - fruits and veggies were started shortly after he turned 6 months.

I just wanted to post that there's no right or wrong in this, it's simply what is right for you and your baby. Just incase anyone didn't want to vote/post for fear of being judged or told off or something.

Morgan, how is the reflux now? Has he grown out of it at all?

Sara, I'm shocked... 16months already?! WOW! Urgh, it's so scary how fast these little ones grow!!

I voted 7 months and even now at 9 months he is barely eating any solids. I don't push it at all, I put some on his plate during meal time and if he eats good and if he doesn't that's fine as well

A little bit after 6 months. Any sooner would have been silly.

Let's see, I made baby food in July....so he was 5 months, but he had cereal before that. I never dropped or upped his formula intake though. He's 9.5 months now.

For Sam? He didn't get solids til almost 9 months because he was a projectiler and had awful reflux. Nothin' helped that kid, I swear. Turned out he was lactose intolerant. Go figure! Anyway, he didn't get table foods til 13/14 months due to a sensitive gag reflex.
