I breastfeed my baby, and she's been on solids for about a month and a half. She has two solids a day, oatmeal cereal with apple for "brunch" and a veggie or fruit for dinner (she's on zucchini right now).
So anyway, I find it very difficult to give her a bottle, she won't take a bottle if it has breastmilk OR formula in it. She will only take a bottle with baby tea in it (usually fennel tea, it's from europe).
So I'm going back to work in a month and a half, what am I supposed to do?
Force formula on her?
I have 3 different kinds with no success with any of them. Should I try harder?
I am not going to pump and work.
What are my options?
I will talk to the doctor next week at the appt as well
Have you tried different bottles/nipples?
If she takes a pacifier you might try getting a nipple similar to her paci. I know they make nipples that are like the NUK pacifiers..
Thats about the only suggestion I have. Sorry.. I wish I could be more helpful. Hopefully it will work out and she will take a bottle for you.
