I just started Emma on solids and am still breastfeeding. While reading somewhere, someone suggested mixing her veggies with breastmilk. Why would you do this? Might they acquire the taste more b/c they're used to the breastmilk?
Also, do you always heat your babies solid food?

I used to mix his cereal with breast milk, but never veggies--would be interested to hear why as well??!? I only heat it for a short time if it's been in the fridge. Usually, I just take it out and let it sit to get the chill out, but sometimes I don't think that far ahead!
Hmmm ive never heard mixing it with breastmilk either. Maybe when you are first starting off to make it thinner or to get them to take it easier? I havent really heard anything about that. I know with cereal I do but not veggies or fruit.
Dylans food is usually room temperature. If its been in the fridge I usually heat it to room temp in the microwave or under warm water.
