WOW! I just went across the border yesterday to go to the brand new price chopper in vermont. I have never seen American baby food before, well its pretty much the same as Canadian, we have mostly the same brands, but I was really surprised to see little minature beginner food jars! We dont have those little puny jars back home. So I was just wondering, when you all say your baby eats say half a jar or a jar etc, what size are you referring to? the puny? the normal? the one thats the 3rd size?

When I say a jar of baby food I usually mean the 2nd size one(so the one just bigger than the "puny" lol. Also I didnt get time to check out Shaws(the only other grocery store in the derby/newport vermont area). Which is cheaper for baby food in your opinion?

This is the containers we use.

Dylan isnt eating them yet though. I have seen the really small jars and those are usually for the meat I think and then they have regular size jars.

Lauren eats the stage 2 jars. I may have to start giving her the stage 3 because I have to scrape the jar and she still wants more. Can you post a pic of what you feed Cohen? I never thought there would be a difference. Usually our food is Super Sized compared to everywhere else...

We feed Jacob the "puny" jars. They are 2 oz jars. But we'll probably be moving to the 4 oz jars soon...he's still hungry when the 2 oz jars are gone now.

shoot lol I forgot I had posted this and didnt come back till today and now the photo link is gone. Oh well I imagine its stage 2 size. I will take a photo of Cohens jars.

he doesnt have stage 3 yet they are WAY too big for him, but I still bought a few jars. Some days he only has half a regular(orange jar) and other days he will have half a regular jar of meat and veg, plus half-3/4s another regular jar of fruit.
